SCIMMIE è uno spettacolo che mescola un’articolata ricerca su linguaggio, parola, e suono, con un lavoro che indaga il corpo e il suo potenziale evocativo. Si crea così un susseguirsi di scene suggestive, magiche, epiche. Una riscrittura del Mito di Troia, della sua caduta, di una cruenta violenza che si ripete identica nei secoli. Sempre uguali gli uomini, sempre incapaci di fronte all’orrore. Attraverso il racconto della guerra, attraverso un’analisi privata degli eroi di quel campo di battaglia, si ha l’occasione di indagare gli aspetti brutali, distruttivi, irrazionali che erroneamente definiamo “animaleschi”. Ma se nel mondo animale si tratta di istinti naturali, nell’uomo questa condotta non è altro che gioco di potere, alienazione, paura.

SCIMMIE is a show that mixes an articulated research on language, word, and sound, with a work that investigates the body and its evocative potential. This creates a succession of evocative, magical, epic scenes. A rewriting of the Myth of Troy, of its fall, of a bloody violence that is repeated over the centuries. Men are always the same, always incapable in the face of horror. Through the story of the war, through a private analysis of the heroes of that battlefield, one has the opportunity to investigate the brutal, destructive, irrational aspects that we erroneously define “animalistic”. But if in the animal world it is about natural instincts, in man this behavior is nothing more than a game of power, alienation, fear.
