CONSULENTE COREOGRAFICO

Il lavoro di artista è complesso e articolato. Il processo creativo è molto delicato e vulnerabile, gli artisti si espongono al giudizio del pubblico, ma a volte esporsi ad un giudizio in una fase del lavoro ancora embrionale può far emergere dubbi e perplessità che possono bloccare il flusso di creazione. 

Creare un ambiente che sostiene il nostro lavoro è molto importante, sentirsi accolti e protetti durante il processo creativo è fondamentale. 

Il mio lavoro di consulente si rivolge a coreografi, registi, danzatori, insegnanti e creatori che desiderano confrontarsi con un occhio esterno accogliente e incoraggiante, che sappia nutrire la natura creativa alleviando il senso di frustrazione e stress. 

Il  primo colloquio online è gratuito, è un’opportunità per conoscersi e capire come posso esserti utile.

Mi chiamo Manuela Lucia Tessi e sono danzatrice e coreografa italiana residente in Olanda dal 1999. Negli ultimi anni ho chiesto la collaborazione come consulente coreografica a S.Bennett, in particolare per “All At Once” (2018), un lavoro per tre danzatrici e una pianista, presentato tra Olanda e Sudafrica.

Il suo aiuto e’ stato inoltre molto prezioso durante le prove del solo “Eyes Closed Rehearsal”(2014-17) per la chiarificazione del movimento e dell’intenzione performativa.

Posso considerare S.Bennett una delle mie piu’ fidate collaboratrici nell’ultimo decennio.

La sua competenza dell’ambito coreografico e’ notevole in diversi aspetti.

 La sua consulenza e’ stata fondamentale nei seguenti aspetti della ricerca coreografica di “All at Once” :

-la ricerca del movimento approfondita e la differenziazione nelle sue qualita’

-la relazione con la musica diretta, ma mai scontata

-la connessione tra i danzatori-performer

-il senso drammaturgico che va al di la’ della divisione binaria narrativo/astratto, teatro/danza.

La maniera in cui i feedback vengono riportati è sempre stata molto precisa e incoraggiante.

Come danzatrice e creatrice mi sento invitata a espandere le mie possibilita’ e andare oltre la mia zona di comfort.

Ho intenzione di chiedere consulenza a S. Bennett per gli ultimi due miei lavori, il solo “the Shell” (2020) e “Mermaid Skin”(2021) , un progetto in collaborazione con tre musicisti e due danzatrici. Questi due lavori sono molto personali e richiedono una capacita’ di analisi precisa e dettagliata, nonche’ franchezza e delicatezza al tempo stesso.

Posso raccomandare caldamente il lavoro di Silvia Bennett come consulente coreografica per svariate produzioni nell’ambito teatrale.

The artist’s work is complex and articulated. My name is Manuela Lucia Tessi I am an Italian dancer and choreographer living in the Netherlands since 1999. In recent years I have asked S.
